That is real close to our list.

    National Lampoons Christmas Vacation,
    It's a Wonderful Life
    Die Hard

We all love Christmas Vacation and Die Hard. And my wife and I have to watch It's a Wonderful Life while we wrap presents on Christmas Eve.

My wife and I have a favorite line from Christmas Vacation: when Chevy cuts the rope on the tree in the beginning in the living room and it springs open and fills the room. He says " Lotta sap in here. It's a little full...lotta sap."

Now, around this time of year, if one of us says anything remotely in that tone of voice, for instance last night we got home and I said as we were going into the house "Really cold." My wife said "Really cold...lotta sap."

It's a long running joke and it makes us chuckle every time.

    TN-Mike,

I see that your signature is real similar to mine, except that yours proves that Barry Goldwater stole his line from Thomas Jefferson.

A good western, WILL PENNY, Charlton Heston, Joan Hackett, & Donald Pleasence. A good story with a HOME INVASION at XMAS, what more could you ask for?
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".

Every year, my wife and I have a Christmas "movie day". We watch It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, and end it with Bad Santa. For some reason, my wife just rolls on the floor laughing at the end of Bad Santa when they shoot him on the front lawn. So I vote Bad Santa as our Christmas shoot 'em up scene.
