    Coolhand,

Current or former bubblehead? Coner or nuke?

I served on the Webster (SSBN-626), Kentucky (SSBN-737), Miami (SSN-755) and the Dallas (SSN-700) as a nuke.

I am looking at getting the 550 in the spring, please let me know how you like it.

I got my wife one of those large briefcases on wheels with the telescopic handle for her to carry her laptop and all her junk to work (currently she carries 2 large bags and her coffee mug). Also, one of those fancy leather note taking pads (uses 3x5 cards).

Well, it's a long story. But she already got a ring last month....since it appeared that I was spending too much on myself (on EBay) and ammo. But both of us pretty much promised not to get each other something since we'd rather spend it on the kids and family. I hope she held to it, cause I went out today and got her a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse. And way back in the depths of my mind...I'm figuring I might be a benefactor in the long run! LUV Outback!

She got a ring, and yes she picked it out, I was told my taste in jewelry sucks, so over the years I have learned the lesson well.

I prefer not to be SHOT thank you! My wife doesn't want jewelry, or the shiny things... She wouldn't wear them if I did buy them...

I did order a new saddle she was looking at... It will be late, but I can use it as her b-day gift (Dec 31), or Anniversary (Jan 4)...

And she would prefer gifts like these...

Mine does not want jewelry. Mine actually asked for a Dyson vacuum cleaner, but I was NOT going to die for that one!

She'll get it, but not for Christmas!
