Sorta addicting to watch. So far seen a few explosions and heard plenty of gunfire and bombs dropping.

Pretty cool. I heard some gunfire in the distance, and now they are calling a prayer over the loudspeaker.

    I can only hear roosters
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Wait an hr or two. Once prayer time is over and the sun comes up (1-2 hrs) then you should see stuff pickup again.

Yep, sunrise and there are quite a few explosions. A guy is moving the camera around and zooming into them. Interesting for sure.

Saw a few helicopters a little bit ago. The zoomed in video wasn't very clear, but it looked like Apaches to me.

    This is addicting...

I hope we don't have to get involved. I think they should fight their own wars for a change.

Glad France didn't feel that way about us.

I think we should lend the Israelis a few dozen B-52s so they can carpet bomb Gaza off the face of the map. That may sound a little harsh, I can still vividly remember seeing the dancing, singing and celebrating in the streets of Gaza after our Trade Towers collapsed, I for one will never forget!!!!

If by the statement above you mean that we should not aid an ally- then I respectfully disagree. Israel is the best ally we have in that part of the world. And if you haven't noticed - there really aren't too many countries in the Middle East that even like us (see post about the celebration after the twin towers - made my blood boil then, makes my blood boil now!) except for making money off of us with Arab oil.

If by the statement above you meant we should refrain (for once) from trying to "put a leash" on Israel's self defense and allow them to handle things with the force necessary to eliminate the threat (a philosophy fundamental to our right to bear arms) then I whole heartedly agree.

I hope we continue giving the Israelis our best military equipment to test in these little police actions to see what works and see how we can improve it
After all we give them a billion dollars a year in aid which most of it is military gear.
