I cannot date these pics - or place them - tho guesswork tells me this is probably Mohave Desert.
But oh my - there are some $$$$'s tied up in this stuff. The pics show the immense scale of the ''parking''!!

I may be wrong about this but I believe those planes are "moth balled". Or at least most of them. Not the common "airplane graveyard" we are familiar with. These are the old planes that were taken out of commission due to upgrades/replacements. With a little TLC, if SHTF, they can be tuned up and used again. I'm not sure if these are those, but I do know that there is a place where the Gov't has planes stored.

Those are pictures of the graveyard at Davis-Motham AFB, in Tuscon Az.
And yes those are B-52's. Those videos of carpet bombing are really cool to watch until you realize that someone had to load each of those bombs individually.

God bless those flying machines and the men and women that flew and took care of them!

Yup, that looks like Tucson. There's also one just west of Phoenix. I believe the Phoenix facility has mostly planes that are expected to be sold to other countries or put back into service of some type at some point. Impressive pictures and impressive to see the facility even from a distance....

There are many Birds with a lot of my blood, sweat and tears in there - and to be honest, an emotion very similar to love. I am an old Retired Aircraft Carrier Senior Chief with a total of 45 years of Naval Aviation experience, uniformed and Civil Service. Pix like these sadden me, aircraft are meant to fly, not sit in neat rows in a desert. Looking carefully, I can recognize - Pic 1 = B-52's or BUFF's; pic 2 = F-4's F-15's and F-14's; pic 3 = B-52's; pic 4 = A7's and I'm not too familiar with Helo's but I think I recognize Cobra's and SH-3'sI

they got one at kingman az. i think.
Are the aircraft in the first photo B-47s?
We kick ass.
