At work I use a PC tower with windows, fiances' house, PC notebook with windows, at my home PC notebook and tower with Linux. All use Firefox except work, there we have to use Internet Explorer.

PC tower at work running XP Pro, with MSIE.
PC tower at home running Win98SE, with MSIE.
PC laptop running XP Pro, with MSIE.

The Win98 machine needs updating, but look at it this way: it's stable, and no one bothers writing exploits against it, anymore.

No options for my operating system... Aren't there enough Linux users to warrant a choice? Gartner lists market percentage of Linux at about the same level as MacOS has (~5%)

Mini-tower PC running Debian Sid. Normally use Firefox, sometimes Konqueror for browsing.

    Firefox favorites vanish!!

I was using Firefox on Windows XP home edition until it deleted my entire favorites folder for no apparent reason. Now I'm back to IE; at least my favorite folder is safe.

I was always an IE man, cause the Firefox, and opera's didn't work with bank sites etc. Now i found Avant browser, it works with every site, has its own pop-up blockers and its FREE.
