Ya'll bear with me...inevitably on any forum I end up on I've gotta share my babies at some point. Guess it's because I've put an awful lot of work and late nights into them.

I'll start off with my performance project.





1997 Buick LeSabre Limited.

I know most of you are probably confused at this point, but keep in mind I could probably count on one hand the number of significantly modified LeSabres of my generation in the country. Who would expect it?

I tried to keep the outside looking as close to stock as possible. Inside, it has it where it counts.



Hmm...can't seem to find a current engine picture. This is close. Maybe I'll snap one later.

I left the interior alone...can't mess with this comfort.







She's regularly in local car shows...



Listing performance mods only...

Port and polish
Upgraded valvetrain
Custom tune & skewed injectors
Fenderwell cold air intake w/ram air induction
MagnaFlow high flow cat
Flowmaster 80
180* thermostat
B&M Transmission SuperCooler
Some other minor stuff like upgraded coils, wires, etc...

Probably more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Aftermarket for these cars is obviously pretty limited, so as you can imagine a lot of this was built by hand, not bought...some with help, some without.

So what does all this do?

Note the direct 4-1 downshift. Still have some delayed torque converter unlock strategy issues but that'll be taken care of soon, too.

It's a constant work in progress. Future plans revolve around supercharging and camming it.

Now for my daily driver...

Mods are limited to a modified throttle body, K&N drop in filter, heavy duty transmission cooler, and a MagnaFlow exhaust system.

If you just get rid of that Chicken Band radio in the truck and replace it with something like this, it'd be perfect:



I like that you chose a sleeper to work on. I think that's the only way to do it... anyone can have a Camaro or a Mustang and shop from a million different places to buy a million different add-ons. Not that I'm denigrating the Camaro or Mustang guys... I used to be one of those Mustang guys before I got all married and stuff.

F22 Raptor. 0 - 60mph ive done in about 5.5 seconds.

Here's my modded SVT Contour that I used to have..

I lowered the springs as far as possible and de-badged almost
everything



Engine was V6 190hp stock...car did not remain stock in my ownership

I like your sleeper idea a lot. I also think its cool you are modding this car. Like someone else said above..many people can mod a Mustang or Camaro. I had a Camaro, before and there are a lot of performance parts etc.

My hats off to you for doing something different. It looks really clean.
