Did you hear about the 4000 dead animals discovered in VA???
I just heard on a local talk radio show that 4000 dead animals were recently discovered in IIRC Virgina. The majority of animals were domestic pets, but there were squirrels, etc. too. Some were decapitated, some had IVs still attached.
Anybody got any more details?

Looks like the domestic animals may have been dumped by a pet crematorium in the DC area, form what CNN was saying.
Since part of the dump site is in the GW National Forest, the feds are investigating.
Somebody is in a world of hurt, or will be shortly.

I'd heard a whisper about it - but nothing to corroborate as yet.

It was in West VA..... But they are pretty sure they came from Fairfax County VA.
The Washington Post said there were about 250 animals, and they were discovered by a woman walking on "private residental property".

Capon Bridge is a pretty small place. Hard to believe no one would notice the size truck(s) it would take to dump that many animals.

A crematorium was getting paid to cremate human remains & they were just dumping the bodies over some hill instead & giving folks wood ashes.
Saves $$$ on natural gas I guess.
That was here in Tennessee - in the Chattanooga area. Don't remember the exact numbers but he'd been doing it for years (inherited the business from his father), got serious prison time too. Tangle could probably offer more details as it's closer to his stomping grounds.
About the dead animals, not sure how I missed it but this is the first I've heard of it. I'll have to switch over to CNN and see what's going on.

I'm going on memory here and it's been quite a while since that happened, but I believe it was in north Georgia.
