    Question 12+ pounds of hardware....

So I go to the doctor the other day and step on the scales, yeah I am a big guy at 6'4" but I do not weigh the 325 pounds his scale said, just weighed in at the gym and it tagged me at 312.
So after taking a chewing out for my weight which is still high, how many of you are aware of just how much hardware you all carry and how much it weighs?

I EDC alot of gear. With out my gun, mags, or holster. I prolly carry around 8-10 pounds. With everything it's prolly more like 11 to 14 pounds.

2 knives, gun, holster, mags, rounds, mag pouch, keys, phone, wallet, shoes, watch, clothes...it all adds up pretty quick.

    Just under 15 Lbs

If counting the steel toe boots. Your question made me rember my time in the Army; back then my web gear alone regularly weighed in at 25-30 Lbs, and my ruck sack was at least 40 Lbs and regularly more than doubled. I think I just got blisters from rembering those days!

    Thanks,
    Searn

Although I was not very clear, I was refereeing to every day carry, when I go out in the field I can easily hit 30 pounds too.

EDC, Magazine, Gerber, Knife, Keys, Lighter, Work Keys, Smokes, Flashlight, Wallet, and change probably adds up to the 9-12 pounds.

There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.
