    Medical training and equpiment.

Ok I'm looking to put together a good med kit for the car/home. And I would like to know what are some good courses and certification to get for an emergency. I have a red cross station next door ans was thinking of getting a M-3 bag, rescue multi tool and maybe a surgical kit and some sealed sutures. Also probably a bottle of alcohol and peroxide. What medical training would be prudent and Inexpensive. Also are there any certifications associated with this training (this probably wont be a career choice).

You can get certification and training from the red cross or other local med facilities usually. I used to have a First responder card, basically just below paramedic training. In my state , if you are certified, you can be sued easier than if not cert. not sure where you are at, but unless you get some extensive training I doubt you will be sewing anyone up.
