    Waive your 2nd amendment rights

Waive your 2nd amendment rights; that is what I now going tell anti gun people I run into now.
I’ll tell them: if that is how you “feel” then you should now waive all your rights to any firearm from this point on.
I’ll get a legal binding contract that you will sign.
If you won’t sign it – thanks for supporting your gun rights!

I’m going to try the idea out to see what happens next time I get the chance…might be entertaining.

It would be great if someone in the legal arena wrote up a contract/waiver of some sort that could be used for that purpose.

The term you're looking for is waive, not "wave". The document would be a waiver, not a "waver".

I thought that or one of those window mount vehicle flags that you see sportsfans use but with "RKBA" or "Molon Labe".
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

Logan5 - spelling aside, I suspect you'll be disappointed with how many people would willingly do so.

I thought it was going to be a stadium full of gun owners doing the wave.

Either way it won’t be a disappointment to me – the idea is to have them consider their rights and not focus so much on my rights.

The idea of a stadium full of people waving their guns would make a great pro 2nd amendment poster. I like that idea.

Not sure ! It depends where ...

I was also thinking of offering all that are anti gun to a free lawn sign that read: “I’ve waived my gun rights – PROUD GUN FREE HOMEOWNER.

Maybe get some similar bumper stickers as well.

I would love for the offer of the lawn-sign to be refused, for the fun of the discussion afterwards: "Because the bad guy believes SOME people protect their families, he worries equally about hitting all houses. Your unwillingness to identify your home as an gun-free zone means you're hiding behind my willingness to protect my family. Isn't that both hypocritical and rather cowardly? Man up and protect your family, or have the moral character to accept the consquenses for your decision."

I like it! May I steal this idea for another forum?

A link to this has been posted on this board before, but, for those who have not yet seen it, it does address your last point:
