I used to love the Zork series of games.

Awesome thread, one of my other hobbies is collecting vintage computer and games and hardware. My collection is rather ridiculous and I'm intending to narrow it down. I won't list it all here, but...

My main three boxes for old DOS games are....
    - 486/100, 64MB of RAM, MS-DOS 6.22/Windows For Workgroups 3.11
    - 286/12, 6MB of RAM, MS-DOS 6.22/Windows 3.1
    - 8088/4.77 MHz, 640K RAM, MS-DOS 6.22/Windows 1.01 (for giggles)

I also have a huge stash of the old Sierra titles, including Police Quest, Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Manhunter, and so on that I picked up a buck apiece at the local thrift in box on 5.25" and 3.5". I usually run these on a Tandy 1000 that I have that has the unique 3-channel sound and 16 color graphics they support.

Major favorites include Car & Drive, Duke Nukem 3-D, Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist, Monkey Island 1 & 2, and the Ultima RPGs (particularly 5, 6, 7, and 8).
