I just hope he stops growing now. It's 75 gallons, and 4 feet across the long way. When he gets spooked, he can flip water across the room. Yes, there is a lid, but the water flies anyway...

Seriously, he's about 2 feet long, and easily a foot in height. With a mouth full of short stubby teeth too.

He's a great Guard Fish. With the threads about cats and dogs, I just wanted to show what kept guard while I'm sleeping at my house...

Can't actually see them, but they guard the back door.

From the front. It's hard to tell how big he is while he is moving, until he swims to the side, and has to turn.

Wow, he is big. When I was in high school, I had a piranha that I thought was big.... he was about 6" in diameter. I had him since he was about the size of a nickel. I had to give him away when I joined the Army.

    Your pacu is way bigger.

I caught one of those fishing from shore a few years ago. Someone must have turned it loose after it got to big.
It was about 12 inches long and tangled in a bunch of weeds, I thought it was a bluegill until I got all the weeds off of it and saw the teeth

The one I caught had teeth just as described here. The DNR rep that looked at it identified it as a pacu. If I could post pictures...
