I've got wasps, flies and mosquitoes but they don't photograph well, and they take long winter vacations. Does that count?

One of my friends collects swords, axes and other medieval weapons...he leaves one of the mounts empty on purpose just so people wonder where it is.

My neighbor is a Detroit Firefighter and one of their fire companies responded to a house fire and gained entry through an upstairs window. There was an open top aquarium/cage sitting under the window that the second guy through stepped in and he came out with 2' alligator latched onto his leg. One more reason to always wear your turnout gear

A friend had a couple of six-foot iguanas who would run up to and slam into the screen door when someone came up to the porch. Few knocked.

    athos,

Wow, those are some serious snapping turtles ! I didn't know that they could grow so fast.
I saw one in a swamp once with a head bigger than mine, it was massive.

Fear of turtles? Well, if you encounter one in the wild, take 3 large steps backwards. You then will have 20 mins to figure out your next move. I kid, but really? My wife is afraid of frogs, and crickets, and anything that jumps. So, once a year or so I chase her around the yard with a bullfrog. Ok, not really...geez I need to go to bed.

This is me next to the Raph costume I co-created with my business partner who is in the suit. That's the turtle I want to protect my home :)

And here's a picture of it in our studio...

I don't know if it's the right species (or even genus), but generally it's a bad idea to disturb wildlife (ESPECIALLY turtles) like that. I know that turtles are threatened in many places...

Just thought I should share for future reference...and because that might have been illegal on many levels.
