CPA exam and shooting...with a poll

Well, as you may have guessed, I take part 1 of 4 of my CPA exam tomorrow morning And due to studying, haven't been shooting in like 3 weeks So I'm going to the range on Saturday and figure I need to make up for lost time. How many rounds should I shoot? Actually, I think I'm gonna make a poll real quick to see how many rounds, on average, you guys shoot when you go.

I think I'm gonna at least put 150 in if not more.

Probably about 250-300 rounds per range session. It's not as much as I'd like, but ammo ain't cheap!

I'm using Becker....I don't know how anyone could pass without this stuff. It's great!! Yeah, I'm hoping to have the whole thing done by the beginning of July so I don't have to work full-time and study at the same time.

I used Becker as well. I was taking the CPA, taking grad classes, and raising a newborn when I was trying to pass. Keep studying, hang in there. You'll pass.

    Peter Olinto said so! :)

I tend to run 100 per weapon. Actually, most of my shooting tends to occur when I can slip away to the range during "lunch" so I'm time limited and end up around 100 rnds total.

    I choose 300.
I generally run 100 rounds thru each weapon and usually take three.

Good luck on the "Quiz". Finished mine a year or two (he he) ago.

I dry fire a lot. This is my real practice time.

I use the range time as the final exam. I generally only shoot around 300 rounds at a time unless I'm just shooting for fun with an AK or something.

By the way, I have been a practicing CPA since Moses was a school crossing guard.

The thoughts of taking that exam again cause my hands to shake.

But its been a good living.

    Good luck on the exam!!
