People bought homes they couldn't afford and now they want a handout to stay in a home they can't afford
"Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country,"
--Mayor Marion Barry, Washington , DC .
I always hear people say things like, "is this what the founders intended" or "what would the founding fathers do about this...?"
And in my head, I always hear something I heard Dennis Miller say... to paraphrase, "The founding fathers wouldn't put up with any of this crap... they were blowing people's heads off because they put a tax on their breakfast beverage... and it wasn't even coffee. Can you imagine how bat-[edit] crazy they would have been on a double espresso...?"
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"
The people that actually pay taxes are getting tired of this.... and they are getting vocal...

It's a great thing how the internet can catapult guys like this to mega celebrity status overnight (literally!). And this guy definitely deserves it. Finally having the <insert word here> to come out and SAY what needs to be said.
I understand the situation as far as your neighbors foreclosing = lower property values for you, but what is the alternative? There are plenty of analogies already, but its like trying to use fix-a-flat on a tire that has blown out.
This simply delays the inevitable, and it'll be much worse then.
Excuse me while I go buy my $3 mil mansion... I guess it doesn't matter that I can't afford it!
And he's right.
If it was 200 years ago, maybe we'd see pitchforks and torches and all of congress getting tarred and feathered.
That's about how I feel about congress right now.

Believe me, folks this is going to work to our advantage; this has really pissed off the middle class folks like us who have to pay for all of this. I saw another article today saying that Obama's budget is calling for raising taxes on the wealthy, so he has made the rich angry. So far:
1) he has pissed off the gun owners beyond belief.
2) he has pissed off the middle class taxpayer.
3) he has by now hacked off the rich.
he's not making many friends. We are gonna kill em in the midterms
