Willie is a 5 year old retired racing greyhound that my parents are fostering while the rescue group tries to find a home for him. They're very active volunteers in the rescue group.

Willie is part of a national photo competition for rescued hounds. Please vote for him by clicking on this link (going to the site by this link automatically logs your vote). He is the third one down on the right side when you get there, the one with red hearts in the corners.

My father had a Greyhound that he rescued from a track in Alabama. Great dog, she was the most well behaved dog that he has every owned, and we have had a few.

Alas, breaks my heart. How can you vote for just one? I have known a great many nice greyhounds. We have not fostered one for a while. The house is kind of full with nine salukis and one very brave cat.

Willie is definitely spoiled.

He eats anything you give him. I saw him eat something off the floor a while ago. I can't remember exactly what it was but I remember thinking dogs don't usually like whatever it was. I think it was a tomato or some other vegetable.
