The last one I watched was 'Wanted' and I did not enjoy it.

However I will be watching 'Rock n Rolla' tonight with hi hopes, as I really like most Guy Ritchie films (except for the crappy one with his ex as the star).

I hear ya on that one. I actually watched the whole thing, although I'm not sure why. Reminds me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I understand that a lot of movies are not extremely realistic, but I think that is what draws us to a lot of movies. Kind of a chance to escape the world we live in. But when movies get to these stages, I just don't know what to say.

Does a TV series count if I watched it on DVD? I don't have HBO but the public library always gets their DVDs and loans them out for free.

I really enjoyed the last two I watched:

    Deadwood

    Rome

The acting was terrible. I enjoyed the film but it was amateurish in the extreme. The poor acting did make Eastwood's performance, grunts and all, seem exceptionable. That many consider this a good movie is a statement on the lack of quality coming from Hollywood.

Last film for me: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

Alright...to update, I watched Eagle Eye last night. It was pretty decent I suppose, not the best, but better than a lot of others I've seen recently. And I'm watching Pride and Glory right now, it's not too shabby either.

    Snatch.

P.S. - This movie is not what I thought it was going to be about, but it was still a good movie.

"Taken"...a great movie, even my wife loved it (she's not usually into this type of movie)...definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Just watched "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg last night while on the elliptical machine. It was OK.

Wish my arms looked like Marky Marks int hat movie. Still trying to make them look like that but I don't have the luxury of a personal trainer and probably the steroids he can afford.

However, I have no desire to see it again.

Back when I was in uniform, back in the 80’s, nothing seemed to bother me. Now I seem to get more emotional about some of the smaller things. Seeing how the civilians treated Lt. Col. Michael Strobl and PFC Chance Phelps literally brought tears to my eyes. This is a movie that I would recommend everybody see at least once. But for myself once is enough.
Same here Blackjack. Saw Taking Chance last week and once was enough for me too. I loved it, thought it was very, very well done and that Kevin Bacon did an amazing job but, I have no desire to get that emotional over a movie again. I do not like to cry and I did it more during that movie than I have in the last 15 years of my life.
