TAKEN is absolutely the most amazing movies I have seen in years.

Made up for that crummy effort Clint Eastwood turned in. I expected Outlaw Josey Wales meets Boyz in da Hood and Got Grumpy Old Men meets Death Wish 4, in reverse.

[QUOTE=TN_Mike;1047983]Just watched "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg last night while on the elliptical machine. It was OK.

"Wish my arms looked like Marky Marks int hat movie. Still trying to make them look like that but I don't have the luxury of a personal trainer and probably the steroids he can afford."

Lol, Wahlberg looks nothing like he has ever used roids. He has been in premium shape since like 1990.

I've been lifting weights for 15 years and have been around enough steroids that I can spot the users from a mile away (ok not a mile, but far anyway).

oh, and the book was good :)

Unfortunately, the girlfriend made me watch My Best Friend's Girl. It's gonna take Die Hard to makeup for that.

Here is the glaring difference between me and you, son:

After 20 years of marital bliss my wife made me watch The Devil Wear Prada
.... and I liked it. You love her? You'd better.

I slept quite well through Apaloosa and Vantage Point's was interesting in the way it was presented and the fact I was willing to ignore the errors.

I thought it was pretty decent myself. Not the best, but decent enough.

I just saw this last night. I usally don't watch a lot of sci-fi but, it
held my interest. I do think I like Cloverfield a bit better.

I'm not sure if it's a movie, I think it's a miniseries but I just watched the first disk of Generation Kill, produced by HBO. Not bad so far, brought back some fond and some not so fond memories. It's on 4 disks available through netflix.

Watchmen, and what I learned is it's ok to show in regular movie theatres if it is blue and glowing!
