Kudos to CNN for airing this. Obama is even worse than I ever imagined. I hope they air his speach over and over again and everybody gets to hear it!!!

Don't think for a second that pseudo-patriotic anti-intellectual blowhards like Rush Limbaugh are some kind of friend to your Second Amendment rights.
He's a political opportunist and a demagogue . He doesn't stand for anything other than himself--much less "conservatism." Remember, this is the same guy who didn't see a problem with the Bush Administration's illegal wiretapping, massive federal deficit, expansion of executive power, or the unconstitutional PATRIOT Act.
The past eight years have been very useful for distinguishing true conservatives from philosophically bankrupt partisans like Limbaugh. If you really think he's for small government, fiscal responsibility, or individual liberty, you quite simply haven't been paying attention.

Indeed. I was expecting the mainstream media to simply pick a few soundbites out of context and use them to make him sound like a raving lunatic. I'm watching on Fox and I'm honestly not a huge Rush fan...but he's preaching it like it is. I might have to reevaluate my opinion of him.

You couldnt be more wrong man. Rush is a person who, like myself loves the country and the precepts on which it was founded, mainly the constitution. Thank God he has the means and courage to say what needs to be said.

Go ahead & get the personal attacks out of the way guys....Yes he's overweight...(so is over half of this country....& I bet a fair share of the people on this forum). Yes, he WAS addicted to painkillers......(Like everybody else is so perfect.)
He is not a 'gun guy' (so what? he doesn't have to be a gun nut to understand the Second.)...but he is pro-2A. ....as well as all the other rights in the Founding docs.......
To those who are attacking him as not being conservative...Name for me any elected politician who is more conservative! If you truly believe he isn't conservative...maybe you should take the time to actually listen to him instead of acting like the left & attacking him personally.
Name for me an issue that he is NOT conservative on? (Somebody mentioned 'illegal wiretaps'........you need to get some accurate info on the wiretap program, before you attack him. As to government spending, he has not been a fan of the over spending, quite the opposite!....Again you need to listen instead of relying on hearsay on the internet or the mainstream media......)
