    Dad at the Mall

    Dad at the Mall

I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes (he is 92).

We decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time.

When the teenager had had enough, he sarcastically asked, 'What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?'

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response, knowing he would have a good one, and in classic style he did not bat an eye in his response.

Got drunk once, and had sex with a peacock. I was just wondering if
    you were my son?'

Can't speak about her Dad but the joke is five or ten years old.

Aahh! The gales of laughter! Stop, stop!

Life is about choices. One who chooses to attack without cause has also chosen to accept whatever defensive measures his target has readied. If this includes violence and death, so be it.

reminds me of an old gentleman back in the 80's. This is back when the Wendy' Where's The Beef? commercials were out. I was standing in line at McDonald's and this tiny little couple in their 90's walked up beside me and ordered their food. When the teenage worker brought their food and sat the tray in front of them the old guy picked up his hamburger looked at it and screamed "WHERE"S THE BEEF!" the teenager just stared in shock and the old fellow looked over at me and cracked up, picked up his tray and walked off. It was hilarious. I thought I hope I can be like that when I'm his age...same goes for your Dad!
