Looking for information about their products or their customer service?

Both. I just heard their ad on the radio late last night.

They are totally new to me. Thanks.

Totally new to me but I checked out their sight and listened to a podcast and am intrigued.

I will have to do some more research about them.

I don't know about this group, but you are wise to check. I sold dehydrated food in 1998 and 1999, and though I was honest my suppliers weren't and it made for some very uncomfortable customer service calls.

Walton Feed was very well respected in this field, and they're still around. You should at least check them out.

I've seen their site, and when I find another job, I'll go back to stocking up on emergency supplies. I may buy from them or some other sites.

I'm kind of amused at their line, "stale Y2K supplies" - if one bought food that dies in ten years, it wasn't Ready Reserve! I had a can of our cheese powder that was 20 years old and had been open for two years: sure, it was starting to go, but that just made the cheddar taste a bit more tangy!

Your results may vary, of course, and the rotation policy of 'store what you eat - eat what you store' is certainly the best.

They have an A- rating with BBB, so they can't be too bad for sure.

Why not just pick up some MREs?

If you dig a little deeper into a lot of these survival food companies they are tied to LDS (Mormonism).

Is that a problem? LDS has been pushing food storage for years and probably have more resources and knowledge about it then any other source out there. So your right a lot of these companies probably are in some way connected weather owned by LDS or just has sold stuff to them but does that have ANYTHING to do with how the company should be looked at?

Sorry if I seem like I'm ranting I just don't understand why you felt it was nessacary to bring up that point as it has nothing what so ever to do with the post.

As far as the original post. I don't know anything about that company but its hard to beat that good of a rating on BBB. I havent done much with online companies as I'm fortunate to have quite a few local stores I can use for things like that.

Nothing wrong with Mormons - and they sure know a lot more about being prepared than most people out there.

Never heard of the company though. I just have about 20 cases of MREs plus the canned food my wife has stocked up on.

I don't know about this company but I have purchased freeze dried long term storage food from Mountain House. DH and I really like the Mountain House. The texture and flavor are very good. It has a very long shelf life but our supplies never hang around that long.

Some people do not wish to buy from such organizations that might contribute to their cause such as Mormons, Moonies, Scientologists, and others. So this advise is revelant to people looking for food storage.

I wont go into this further as to not get my post deleted or thread closed.
