Dangerous things and places
That's a BIG gator.
What's with all the chains and planks in the other pic? Kinda takes the fun out of death defying, no?

"Sure, As long as the machines are workin' and you can call 911. But you take those things away, you throw people in the dark, and you scare the **** out of them; no more rules...You'll see how primitive they can get."
You should have a choice, you can use either the planks or the chains.

Here ya go..... if you like hiking in along the side of a mountain (above is one of these)
Pathway; Caminito del Rey "walk of death". People have died there... who slipped, etc. It's in Spain.....
Mt. Hua in China’s Shaanxi Province (Mt Huashan).

How would you have liked to be the guys who made these ?
I'm getting sick just looking at the photos... I discovered a long time ago that I am not afraid of heights, I am afraid of edges... I can be 200 stories up, as long as I don't have to look down over the edge.
If you are counting on me to walk those planks to bring you snakebite anti-venom, I'll give my sincere apologies to your next of kin at your funeral...

I am speechless with the Caminito del Rey. There is no way no how I'd do that walk.
PS: the gator shots were taken next to our range..... Just kidding!
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
Ego will kill you. Leave it at home.
Made me dizzy, thanks. I've seen the Caminito del Rey before it's hard to even look at, not that I'm afraid of heights or anything.

I'd totally walk along side that mountain (as long as I had something tying me to it of course :D ..)

I am quite familiar with the conditions shown in the last pic, however my experience with that kind of sea state was aboard a US Navy Destroyer, out searching for the USS Scorpion in 1968. We had seas breaking over the bridge.
