    Wow SC is 51st.

I used to chew Redman Golden Blend. I havent chewed in 3 months. When I moved to SC I was very happy since the tobacco was so cheap compared to Florida.

Nothing surprising there. If you can't stop people from using something by talking them out of using it, tax them out of using it. Tobacco, alcohol, gasoline, guns & ammo. One way or the other they will make their agenda work. One thing I have never seen addressed is, what becomes of the farmers who produce the crops? Are they going to be reimbursed for the millions of dollars invested in specialized equipment they've bought? I think we already know the answer to that question.

They pay the farmers a subsidy to not grow tobacco anymore. Then the farmers use the land to grow something else.

And that has made all the difference.
