curator for a private trust museum

painting restoration - I also just started painting again ~

In addition I make "neat things" ~ mostly knife & gun related.

I've had an interesting, varied, diverse, & modestly adventurous past.

right now...I am in the process of allowing my "Home" to totally devour my bank account & my wallet with endless and expensive restoration & repair.

Managed a Radiology Dept for 10 years and for 7 of those was a volunteer Firefighter/EMT.
Now I'm just a registered tech in a clinic system and do any needed nursing support as well.

Nice to see other EMTs/Firefighters here! If we shoot them, we have to fix them --- but not right away!!!

Worked for my dad for a year out of engineering college (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), figured I owed him for helping me pay for it, then got a job at the Northern Illinois electric company (Commonwealth Edison), worked there for 16 years, volunteered for a separation package, did consulting/contract engineering work for about 4 years. I'm semi-retired right now, writing fiction, but I'm considering going back to work doing risk assessment, which I really enjoy, as I'm kinda bored.

What will I do now? Good question. No too much call for disabled tankers in the civilian world.
Do what I did: Get your teacher certification and TEACH!

BTW, can you pick me up some XXL HooooAH T-shirts that are ARMOR specific before you go? Airedale's were generic armor school stuff that was fine, but I really NEED the KEWL stuff.
