When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
Agreed...remakes rarely top the original.
IMHO......NOTHINGcould be worse than the origional

My wife fails to find the 3 Stooges funny......
but I Love her anyway and forgive her, her faults.

Just can not picture Sean Penn as a Stooge.
Jim Carey, hell yeah! Benicio del Toro kind can see. Sean Penn.... ah.... no, not really!
"Without fear there can be no Courage!"
Well they are casting one of the parts correctly.

I love the 3 stooges...
To err is human.
To forgive is divine.
Neither of which is Marine Corps policy.

NONONO. You just can't follow that. Don't try, you'll ruin it. And certainly not Penn and Toro.
The only thing that stops bad guys with guns is good guys with guns. SgtD
I love the stooges -- Shemp is my favorite (I know, I know, that's sacrilege!) There's no way the new movie can match the original stooges -- especially with Sean Penn as Larry. What are the producers smoking???

Once again Hollywood proves no one out there can think. Why come up with a new idea when you can do a remake? That or take a old TV series and make a movie out of it. Why be creative when you can steal someone elses and have more time for your pot, and coke and pills!
Aside from the fact that there are some things that shouldn't be touched again by hollywood...I will not see a movie with Sean Penn in it.
I've thought Sean Penn was a stooge for many years now.
I think that Hollywood needs to get a new creative bone and not screw up all the good stuff we remember.
