Sportsman's Warehouse closing sale Rogers, Arkansas

Well, I haven't had the chance to make it up that way, but the place is having a store wide closing sale. I guess it has been for a week or more. Just an FYI for you folks up in NWA. Hope to hit it next weekend and see if anything's left.

Is their internet sales closing also? Or just the store location?

    Roanoke VA

The one in Roanoke is being closed & the stock liquidated also.

Saturday a week ago, it was elbow to elbow (site appropriate version) with great deals on non-gun items.

OK (5% to 25%) on reloading, hunting, etc.

    Guns & ammo full price.

I have been told that they are slowly reducing the prices on guns & ammo, but haven't been back to see.

I just looked at the Colorado Springs site, and there was no mention of a liquidation, so I am assuming it is not in liquidation mode, unless someone knows different?

That was a nice store. I did think it was high priced. I went there several times while up there, easy to get to with a big truck and Out Back Burgers in the parking lot.

I read somewhere that SW had been bought by a Canadian company and is undergoing "restructuring". They seem to be closing quite a few stores.

We were in Chattanooga yesterday and stopped in to look around and I was amazed that they had a total of only 9 or 10 handguns and most of them were single action revolvers.
I expected them to have no ammo, but the lack of handguns caught me off guard. My wife found us in the firearms section and her jaw dropped when she looked over the counter.
The clerk said that they were selling everything they got as soon as they received it. I found it strange that they had completely taken out most of the racks that usually hold the handguns.

Holsters, reloading supplies, safes, etc were all basically non-existent, which was to be expected.

My wife did remark that she noticed that there were several sections that seemed as if they weren't being restocked, which I agreed was odd unless they have just had remarkable sells recently or maybe they are no longer selling as much variety in some areas. Or maybe that store is on the bye bye list. I guess time will tell.

They just opened a store near me here in NW Las Vegas a few months ago. I hope that one doesn't close.

I read that they're closing something like 23 stores nationwide.

I haven't heard anything about our store, but they wouldn't have to work very hard to liquidate the gun section. That place has looked like Mother Hubbard's cupboard since about January. Their handgun pegboard is so empty, they've started putting long guns up there. Last weekend, even their long gun racks were pretty bare. They might have had 10-12 long guns in the whole store. (Hint: If you stock it, we will buy. )

Save yourself the trip unless you are looking for things not gun related. I was in the store about 2 weeks ago and the gun shelves were bare. Spoke to a sales person who said they were not getting any shipments.

Sportsman's Warehouse is filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is closing 23 stores nation wide. In addition, 15 stores are being sold to a company called UFA Co-op. Locally, the store in Grand Junction, Colorado does not appear to be on the list for closure or sale however shelves are bare of ammunition and most handguns.
