Now it looks like everyone is getting Glocks.

    It's kind of creepy actually.

    I already had 4 Sigs.
I already had the Glock 21.

Nah - not creepy - just the random cycle of things!

Mind you, heaven be praised, we are pretty much all on the same page and that's great - we (the choir) are in unison even if we disagree on smaller points.

One thing which does show is that we generally do not ''slam'' other's choices. We have our personal preferences but for most part respect other's choices. It is not often in fact that anyone goes to buy anything really doubtful - but we do support folks.

I like SIG's and enthuse - but I can also see the benefits in the XD's, the CZ's, the 1911's and ''even'' <cough> the Glocks

J/K - we will always have fun digs - and as long as that is where it stays, no harm no foul.

I'm with Rocky. Though I trust Glock's implicitly, they are great self-defense weapons; I just can't see myself buying one.

Now if someone chose to give me one....I wouldn't turn it down.

Sorry guys, I'm just a JMB disciple.

    Well For Sure

All of us will not be going out & buying a Jennings or a used Bryco...and that's a very good thing.

I have noticed a sort of cyclical forum firearm buying trend so...I think Euclidean did notice something happening.
Since he is so mathematics oriented maybe he has spotted a subtle increase in the averages...very possible.

Maybe it's just trends in threads? After all it's human nature to imitate each other.

I've got XDs, Sigs, Glocks, and 1911s, and I recently bought a Glock. It must be something Glock is putting in the water system, 'cause I have no idea why I bought a new G-17.

But I have to say they are simple - that's a good thing. They sit low in your hand, you don't have to off the safety before you shoot or decock afterward. It's got the same controversial trigger pull every time, and IMO, the trigger reset is wonderful. They're about as reliable as a gun can be. And although they'll never have the precision trigger of a hammer fired gun, they are fast! They don't have the safety margin as a DA/SA or a DAO - added that for the sake of discussion

But, getting back, that would be interesting if there is truly a trend going on. Could it be that there are a lot of good guns out there and as one is "re-discovered" and glowing reports are posted, we all want one?
