once ya drive a Honda ya never go back. I have owned Honda Civics
for 20 years.
I have had a bunch of cars, but only one, honda. It handled like a tricycle, and had less acceleration than my 58hp festiva, with worse mileage, and just as much road noise. I have driven and riden in several others and still fail to see what people find so attractive about them. Heck my old festiva even had more legroom. The only things I can think of that were better on the honda than the festiva, the seats, and the factory radio.
Personally I would rather spend the extra money on gas, and drive almost any car at least twice their size, (even one that is wrong wheel drive) than a tiny little honda any day of the week.
This may start a debate, but if you do the math, in almost any vehicle on vehicle collision, mass, is your friend. For instance, two similarly constructed cars collide head on, one weighs 4500lbs the other weighs, 2250 (aka festiva) All other factors aside, the festiva driver will suffer twice the g-forces as the driver of the larger car.
These numbers can be offset, by crumple zones, angle/area of impact, etc. But the math doesn't lie.
P.S. don't even get me started about ist Gen airbags...
My "work car" is a 91 Tercel LE with 219,000 miles, smokes very little upon start up when cold (valve seals) and everything else works great....
No power but great on gas....
I drive 50 miles a day to work and back and it hasn't failed to get me either work or home yet...

Love that vid - second time of watching and I am again impressed with the clever way it was done.
Annoying tho - both viewings were on Viral streaming vid - thru a flash interface. I really want to find the whole file so as to download and archive it. Maybe eventually.
Nice work.
