It was a nice day in MI. Friend of the family drove up to the hardware store, and left the window cracked. Unknown to the family friend, while he was taking his time looking at grass seed, a BG checked out his truck, noticed some CDs, on dash, and reached in.
That is when the german shepherd took ahold of the mans arm (had a coat on). According to a witness, for a good 5 minutes, the dog just applied enough preasure to hold the man, but would not let go.
Family friend walks out, notices the situation, and asks BG, what the...is going on. BG starts yelling at family friend how he is going to sue. Family friend tells BG, well, I guess I'll just open the other door and let you and he talk about it.
BG begins to beg to be let go. Family friend walks to passenger side, gets in truck. Locks the doors, tells the dog to let go (friend is unarmed). Dog obeys, guy runs. Witness asks if friend is going to call LE.
Now friend did not call LE, let the dog know the dog did a good job. I think I would have called LE, however, famly friend figures it is a coin toss what was the right thing to do. Just happy the BG was put in the situation for a few minutes.
