    R.I.P. Don...

I didn't know 'till I saw this thread that he had passed away. Weird coincidence, I ate dinner last night while watching a couple of episodes off my "Andy Griffith Collection" DVD's. I think my all-time fav. is the one with the "loaded goat." His movies were great as well.

Seemed a genuinely nice guy. This thread brought the news to me as I hadn't heard -

He was one of those instantly likeable actors...he will be missed. I remember seeing him in a film called The Love God, where he played the editor of a Men's magazine, a very funny movie!

Yup, a good LEO although I liked him better when he was a FISH, and everybody's favorite (although not the prettiest) vampire slayer. Who's next? These things usually happen in three's.

Sometimes...I just WISH that we could leave some of these Hollywood schmucks in their good roles instead of their freaked out private lives. I mean, I loved Clooney in the movie PeaceMaker! I even liked him in From Dusk Till Dawn but he can't keep from shooting himself in the foot when he's not acting. Same goes for the Baldwins.

Ya'll got to remember these folks live in Hollywood, away from "real" people. Like the Rosie thing --She thinks no one should have a firearm EXCEPT her bodyguard. And when you get no input to your thinking except people who are paid to agree with you and hang out with the same kind of people. You get a little holier than thou, and start to think you are pretty bright. All most of them need is a good reality check. Too much money-and too much time on their hands.
