While I own 3 rugers, I would never own a dodge.

Closest I get to gun stuff with truck is my Leer Browning cap - that cost arm and leg too.!

Don't think in truth I'd want either the Dodge or - a gun themed make-over. Probably suits some tho I guess.

Dang, about a year ago I wanted one of those Browning shells in the worst way for my truck. My wife said something to the effect of "honey, you'll look like an old man with one of those things."

Haha - yeah right Mr Duck!! Actually I do not ''look'' like an old man - I AM an old man

The only things that make it different are the inside rifle compartment, and it is sorta lined in carpet.

Is the rifle compartment pretty secure? Any leaks, rattles, or huge blind spots? They really do seem to be practical.

Duck - someone asked about that not long ago so I took some pics - see below. Interior pics show (sort of!) the rifle compartment, closed and then opened. Then a pic of exterior.

No rattles or leaks - and blind spots fairly minimal. This one is fitted to a Pro-tec bed. Only downside with rifle holder is, because this cap has no ''hump'' - it's a bit of a fiddle crawling in to access it. I have a Thule pod on top too - which is handy for either model plane wings at times - or also several long arms!

That's a sweet rig, thanks for the pics. I have a 2500HD ex cab, so should be the same top. I occasionally sleep in the truck at the boat ramp during duck season. Lets me beat the morning rush. I think a sleeping pad in the bed would be much more comfortable than trying to curl up on the back seat. Would also be a little more secure for fishing rods, etc, or at least keep honest people honest. Yet another toy to save up for...
