One day while driving through the neighborhood where my father lives, saw a sight that disturbed us both. There was house with a tattered American flag flying. We both discussed the matter. Turns out the home owner is an crippled and couldn't get up to take the flag down. My father is a veteran and this bothered him. He went to a store and purchased the man a new flag. He went to his house and told him that he was going to replace the flag for him and proceeded to hang the new flag. The man thanked him and my father said being a veteran of this nations military it was the least he could do to honor his country. The boy scouts are coming to properly dispose of the old flag. I love this country and the brave men and women who serve to protect her constitutional freedoms.
That is a wonderful story! Hearty handshake to your dad!
I'm proud of your father, too.
I wish I had neighbors like him.
Good stuff. People like your dad make the world a better place.
Excellent story! Thank you for sharing with us.

Book: "Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps."
