Despicable - obscene - plenty of other adjectives I can think of but most would not wash on this forum.

I think one of my previous posts applies here:
    4) If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were.

Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDU's), mysteriously telling others that you used to be "Special Forces," and collecting GI Joe memorabilia might have been okay if you were still seven.

Now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.

I just reread this thread. Wanted to clarify that LTG Honore' isn't "stuck on stupid" himself, that's what he told reporters asking ridiculous questions.

"Uncle Russ" is a no BS kinda guy. Maybe he'll kick Nagin's ass...

Let's face it, he's just making himself look more stupid than he already has. I suspect even someone with no military background will be able to recognize a fake when they see it.

I wonder if this Richard Cranium even realizes (or cares) how offensive to military personnel this appears...the same military that actually did something to save people stuck in the danger zone of the hurricane (unlike certain mayors of some cities...)

Be happy you missed it on TV, I saw a clip on the evening local news (DC Station).

Maybe the answer to this problem is if you get caught wearing military clothing, you get conscripted immediately, and serve maybe about 6 years....... You know, to earn the clothing!
