Ok guys, I'll start the May pPic of the Month thread right here.
I'll even throw one in to get it started.
Let's be creative and get some pics submitted!
Mine's not too creative but I will work on some better ones for this month.
Let's see yours!
Here is my tap handle for my keg. This is a 30MM from an A-10. It was shot at insurgents attacking an Army unit during my deployment to Afghanistan. I shined it up and tapped the threads so it would fit my keg handle. The bullet is a wood fake that is painted to replicate a depleted uranium round.
Here is my keg "chambered".
This is not the best camera work since it was taken on my cell phone. My son and wife, his first day shooting the cricket we got him for his birthday. He did very well for his first day shooting and is excited about going again soon.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

That rocks, Soow...!
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"
Not very exciting... but it's all I've got to work with at the moment. :)
What really inspired me was seeing all the great pictures over the years from members of various forums I visit. Between these and ones in gun rags such as Mr. Nagata (whom I had to Google ) has taken, I've found it to be almost as addictive as shooting. I do nothing more than take a multitude of shots at different angles, lighting, effects and backdrops and see what happens. I'm still pretty much a novice at this but I do enjoy being the blind hog that finds the acorn once in a while.
Any more entries?? Surely there are more budding photographers out there.
sorry for the quality camera phone!
