Weight of 1k rounds of 9mm ammo

I am shipping out 1k rounds of 115grain FMJ 9mm ammo. I am trying to figure out exactly the weight of it. My scale my not be 100%right, i am sure it isnt. Its saying around 25-28lbs for 1k rounds of 9mm ammo in a box.

Anyone can help me out that has shipped it, one box is 1k rounds of Winchester White box, the other 1k is 500/500 of Blazer Brass and Winchester White box. Its all 115 grain.

    Thanks

    About 30 pounds...

Who ever the carrier is...is going to weigh it anyway.

ok thanks I figure just put 30lbs just to be on the safe side, since they are picking it up at my house, and i already have the printed label on the box. What if the weight I put on the label is not enough will they not pick it up or what??

Stick it in a flat rate box and you'll save a bunch.

You can't ship ammo through USPS

24-28 pounds depending on case material and bullet weight.

I was going to guess 30 pounds. When you go to ship it you'll have to go to a UPS hub - they won't pick it up at your house and you can't drop it off at a UPS Store either. They'll weigh it when you get there and put an ORM-D sticker on it.

They do to pick up at your house just to let you know. So far I have shipped out around 5 packages and havent had a problem. Its 3 bucks per package for them to pick it up at your house.
