The dog is lucky the other cop used the Taser instead of his gun.

Taser videos are just flat out fun to watch.

The dog is lucky to be alive.
I would rather stand against the cannons of the wicked than against the prayers of the righteous.

I hope they tasered the dog's owner right after that. SHAME ON THEM for letting the dog out off leash to attack someone. Shame on them for not doing proper training and socialization!

A long time ago we planted a garden near our house, and to keep our dogs out of the garden I strung a shocker wire around the perimeter of the garden. It was the type of shocker you use for livestock. Our dogs learned all about it the first day.

Sometime later a troubling-making dog in the community (half Chow-half GS) came around to harrass our dogs. We all hated this dog. Our dogs happened to be on the opposite side of the garden when the bad dog saw them and bolted through the garden and electric fence to get to them. He sort of got tangled up in the shocker wires, and the shocker wires were clearly winning the fight he was looking for. I was fairly nearby and I started hollering/cursing at the dog while he was getting shocked, when he finally broke free he ran for home, with me still hollering at him.

From that time on, he apparently related my voice with him getting shocked, and just one word out of me would send him flying home in a panic.

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but it reminded me of this instance with the Taser.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

I like dogs. In this case however, if I were the officer I would have put a couple of rounds in the dog.
