Thank you for the post. I will be sure to avoid Trader Joe's (unless they support a 2-state solution, that is).

I have nothing against Israel or Jews, and empathize with them for their treatment during WWII. However, it's the ultimate (and sad) irony that sufferers of the Warsaw Ghetto have now become the perpetrators of a modern-day Palestinian Ghetto.

The 2-state solution needs to move forward before that region has any chance of lasting peace.

As you see from all the posts, More are supporting Israel than not. By not going to Trader Joes is your right. When Terrorists hit the Western Countries and kill your children while dining out or going to school. I will still let you embrace them.

I am not against a 2 state solution, if there there is true peace. But the Palestinians teach hate in their text books to their children and still will not recognize the right of Israel to exist.

While your at it, why don't you also boycott any medication you take in America.

    1. 1 out of 15 RX's drugs are Israeli made,

    2. Cell Phones too since it was Israel Motorola that invented them.

    3. Microsoft Software running your computer. , if you have them, get rid of them. Israel Microsoft invented it.

And those Memory sticks that fit on your key-chain, get rid of them as well

    3. Call center technology. Israel invented the call center technology and provide over 25% through out the world, called NICE. If you need help and you get a service center, hang up, they are probably using what Israel invented.

    4. The break through invention, a camera in a pill. Doctors will be able to see any intestinal problems without surgery. Tell your physician you would rather be slit open and have them look using that technology.

    5. Be aware, Israel is second in developing patents, right behind the United States. If at any time, you are being treated for a life threatening illness, please ask your doctors first to see if it was an Israeli invention, so you can have the option to boycott it.

    6. You get an infection, especially that is hard to treat, more than likely it was invented in Israel, Israel is the leading manufacture of antibiotics and generic drugs in the world.

    7. If you use any type of instant messaging, please stop. It was invented by Israelis.

I don't mind you boycotting all Israeli products. Please do, but I bet you life would be a lot harsher and inconvenient.

Here is a link on Israeli contributions to the world.

It appears that the new focus of American foreign policy is holding hands with the Arab/Muslim world.

Obama's Cairo speech signaled to Israel that she is on her own now.

Obama equated the Holocaust horror with Palestinian rights and alleged mistreatment. In reality, the corrupt Palestinian leadership is the root of Palestinian suffering.

Our current administration may have turned their back on our strongest ally (Israel), but there are millions of Americans who still support Israel......and I am one of them.

TOTAL: 129 ONE HUNDRED TWENTY NINE!

The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims!

The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew that has destroyed a church. There is NOT a single Jew that protests by killing people.

The Jews don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.

Perhaps the world's Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems.

Muslims must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them!!

Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel 's part, the following two sentences really say it all:

'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.
If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel'.

    -Benjamin Netanyahu

P.S.: The Muslims, using their always impeccable logic, would claim these statistics prove how discriminated against they really are!

And the Muslims want to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth -- wow, what a difference that would make........

This is the wrong forum to debate this, but since it is up already it needs a response.

Now, exactly why is it that Egypt which shares a border with Gaza keeps that border sealed? Are you willing to blame Egypt for the Ghettoization of Gaza?

Why was it that Jordan refused normal commerce and normal citizenship rights to the West Bank residents--thus creating and worsening the situation for people who should have had Jordanian citizenship rights. Tell me, exactly who created the ghetto?

Are you willing to blame both Egypt and Jordan for abandoning their citizens and renouncing them after they (Syria, Jordan, Egypt) lost a war they started, with Soviet collusion and encouragement? Palestinian outrage should be focused on Egypt and Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Those are the folks who created the mess. And my memory is long enough (I'll leave the actual research to you) that I recall the US caught (intercepted) a plot by the Egyptian, Jordanian, and Syrian governments to start the 1967 war and blame it on--who else--The United States. And for that our wonderful State Department decided the former King Hussein was a moderate :--

Are you aware that there was a two state solution accepted by Israel in 1947, and rejected by the Arab neighbors who immediately invaded, lost the war they started, and thus created the present situation. And are you aware that before this Jews inhabited the entire region West of the Jordan river?

Are you aware that there was a two state solution proposed by Bill Clinton when he was President, accepted by Israel, and rejected by the terrorist thug Arafat?

Are you aware that after that war 1947 the Arab nations either expelled or persecuted till they fled far more Jews than there ever were "Palestinian refugees?"

Are you aware that at some point in the 1970s or early 80s, I don't recall exactly, Ethiopia blackmailed the worldwide community to the tune of 5K per Jewish human they held for ransom and would allow to leave only on receipt of the money? Very civilized behavior eh?

Israel pulled out of Gaza and gave the inhabitants every opportunity to govern themselves. They could have chosen to do so in an orderly and decent way. They could have decided to establish good relations and prospered. They chose a different path. Daily rocket attacks.

What do you think the US would do to Mexico if we had rockets launched by the hundreds from Juarez into El Paso? Do you think we would be "gentle" when we sent our military in to put a stop to it?

Oh, and let us not forget Colin Powell's valiant efforts to negotiate with Arafat, which went nowhere. Bush has been blamed for not trying to move a settlement of the issue forward. I'm no fan of his, but there was a reason for the hands off approach.
Colin Powell had figured out the obvious. There is no reasoning with those Fatah folks.

    Useful idiots, United and Chevy.
Those Palestinians hate you too, for the same reason that they hate the Jews, it has nothing to do with land, everything to do with religion.
It all started when the Jews refused to accept Mohammed as a prophet.

In today's real world, virtually every single Arab leader mentions the Israeli-Palestinian crisis as the number-one hot button issue in that region. And even President Obama is starting to listen to, and acknowledge, that chorus of voices - witness his epic speech in Cairo.

Keeping the Palestinians bottled up in a giant, open-air prison camp continually inflames many Muslims and jeopardizes Israeli long-term security. In my opinion, terrorism recruitment will go way down if a viable solution is found. Yes, yes, we all know the 2-state solution has failed to materialize and the process has broken down in the past for a myriad of reasons.

But as with many worthwhile objectives in life, success rarely comes easily. It often takes numerous attempts and failures. A viable 2-state solution is good for Israel and good for the world...........................

One of my long-time favorite examples of numerous struggles and failures is this:

He failed in business in 1831.
He was defeated for Legislature in 1832.
His second failure in business was in 1833.
He suffered a nervous breakdown in 1836.
He was defeated for Speaker in 1838.
He was defeated for Elector in 1840.
He was defeated for Congress in 1843.
Again, he was defeated for Congress in 1848.
He was defeated for Senate in 1855.
He was defeated for Vice President in 1856.
He was defeated for Senate in 1858.
He was elected as President in 1860.

It was - President Abraham Lincoln

Why should we expect a 2-state solution process to be any easier???????

    Peace
