Whether you love his work or hate it, a giant fell today...
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"

I'm torn on this. He has had a huge impact on music and the entire world, but the child molestation questions make it hard for me to truly mourn his passing. What a horrible week to be a celebrity.

Kind of hard for me to believe Micheal Jackson was a slight bit older than me. I watched an interview with Farrah Fawcett and documentary of her bout with cancer, and I must say she fought long and hard and it's time for her to rest. My heart goes out to all those feeling the pain of their loss. Our days are numbered, and once we accept that fact, we live more at peace with ourselves. Your life doesn't need to make an impact on history to know it was important and served a cause. We're all in the same boat, and thousands died today without making the headlines. Life.....make the most of it while you can.

Too bad it didn't happen to him about 50 years ago. A major child molester that bought his way out.

I'm wondering if it was suicide. I could enjoy his music (not really a fan), could never be sure what to think about the legal charges. The ones that made it to court always seamed questionable on both sides. Then there were the allegation of the ones who were paid to be quiet, it just gets to be to much, and for me, it is hard to seperate the person from their art (especially for something like child molestation).
In God's hands now.
