Lost out on another job

Unfortunately I will probably have to relocate. But I am waiting until I get my degree and hopefully get accepted into a police academy. I could have put in for a few jobs in Wyoming in years past but my wife has a huge family and it would be very hard on her to leave. She has a hard time just leaving the baby to go to work for 8 hours. So separating from the rest of the family would be very hard. I just received notice that my former employer is probably getting TRA status through NAFTA which will get me education, I already go for free, but will also extend my unemployment from a year and a half to 2 years and cover some relocation expenses, vehicle repairs, and clothing for job interviews.
