Is this a scene from the movie Super Troopers or Reno 911or something? This moron didn't 'accidentally' taze you -- he unholstered, pointed it at you, and then pulled the trigger until you were shocked. Then his partner in crime proceeded to threaten you. Furthermore, the Shift Commander is attempting to aid his buddies in their Shenanigans. This whole police department obviously has a serious lack of integrity. What kind of department accepts this kind of performance and attempts to sweep it under the rug and cover it up?

The people of your town deserve better than what amounts to The Three Stooges Police Department. Police Officer is a job that demands a very high standard of performance and integrity. You have by sheer (bad) luck identified three officers who are not deserving of the the trust they have been given by the citizens.

Please follow through with whatever it takes to make sure they are not simply rewarded with a frowny face and a paid vacation. These jokers need a new career flipping burgers or hauling garbage.

    I agree.
IMO, the threat to keep quiet shows a serious lack of integrity, that man doesn't appear to have the character that a good LEO should have. It's guys like him that do dirty stuff, like the cops in N.O> that were guarding drug shipments, murdering witnesses etc.
The goof-ball that Tazered you is actually less dangerous than this guy. He's just a putz, the other guy is a punk with authority.

The idiot that Tazered you is an accident, the other one that threatened you his actions were deliberate and he is a real danger to leave with a badge. He needs to be reported all the way up. Does the survellence video have audio as well? Hearing this I care less adn less about the tazering itself, #2 is the guy that covers things up and does it his way regardless of the law. He sounds like the "Drew Peterson" type.

We are talking about the same thing. AFID is just what Taser calls their micro dots.

Unless your towns PD is the most corrupt ever, I wouldn't worry about retaliation to much.

I would seriously have had to resisted the urge to take it away from him and personally deliver it to the Chief.

I doubt that would have worked out well for you.

Remember this guy is also carrying a gun, and if he's that negligent with a taser... well, you get my drift... report it.
