R.I.P. The United States of America
Born: July 4, 1776
Died: January 20, 2009
Apparent cause of death: apathy
These United States of America, born a republic governed of the people, by the people died a slow and whimpering death at the hands of those that wonder how much more can be bled from her coffers. In her youth she was a strong nation, with lofty ideals and gritty citizens. Over the years her citizens asked for more and more of the fruit of others labors. The next big handout was the plan of the day. Finally, when she ran out of other peoples money, Miss Liberty was dead.
In her wake Miss Libery leaves: Globalism, nannyism, regulation, socialism, fear, depression and tyranny.
It has been reported that the following unusual occurances happened upon her death:
The Jefferson, Washington and Lincoln Memorials in Washington, DC although made of stone, inexplicably burst into flames and burt to ashes.
The Statue of Liberty (although a gift from France) jumped into NY Harbor and drowned herself.
Mt. Rushmore, crumbled.
Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA and the Liberty Bell have also been reported to be on fire, although the fire seems not to consume either.
Pilgrims are flocking to Philly, reports of armed crowds in the NH towns of Lexington and Concord are growing.
The graves of the following: John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Paul Revere and John Hancock show evidence of the interred spinning in their graves.
Ghosts are fighting the Battle of Gettysburg, and British Zombies fight at Yorktown unlike they fought over 200 years ago.
Memorials to the dead of this nation's wars across the country bleed an unstemmable tide of blood. An army masses at Arlington, and mortals will not stop them. The Tomb of the Unknown's is open, and these heroes are now speak their name. The risen soldiers seek answers from those that so willingly sold their sacrifices for personal gain.
So, for all who would sell the lives and souls of the men that fought and died for our freedom remember, the founders of this great nation were branded traitors. Some were tortured to death, some sold out to the British, some run into poverty and some fought and rose to greatness.
What are you going to do?
Freedom will be receiving mourners to Liberty's death EVERYWHERE Freedom is sought. Gifts should be sent to your town's poor along with support and encouragement. Freedom and Liberty always felt they could figure it out on their own.

The towns of Lexington and Concord made famous during the revolution were in Massachusetts, not New Hampshire.

Yep, looks like she may be a goner.
If some states break off like being talked about, in hopes of maintaining a more conservative way of life, I'll be looking at moving out of NC for the first time in my life.
NC doesn't seam to be doing to well right now.

Montana and Texas look pretty sweet! And it's easier to cowgirl up there than it is here. (Literally. I mean horses, not guns a'blazin.)

A picture of things to come if we continue down the path we are on now....

Great Read, I enjoyed that!! As stated above we really got moving down hill in the 30's. However, as predicted in the 18th Century, we were doomed from the beginning.
When the thirteen colonies were still a part of England, Professor Alexander Tyler wrote about the fall of the Athenian republic over two thousand years previous to that time:
"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage."
Alexander Tyler
"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." Benjamin Franklin
Steps in the stripping of State's Rights/Sovereignty

Great read. I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that looked cool. It said "Cessation before Socialism"
If any of you NC guys/gals come over to the Lone Star State, please bring me some BBQ and Cheerwine.
