    Latest Tactical "Must Have"!

The latest overuse of a tired word.........From Home Depot: Teleteps 1205 Tactical Extension Ladder:

The Revolutionary Telesteps 1205 Black Tactical telescoping extension ladder provides a 16 ft reach and can also be used by the foot in 1 FT increments at any height up to 12.5 ft. The Teleteps 1205 Black Tactical is made from sturdy yet lightweight black anodized aluminum alloys and are easy to carry, easy to store and easy to use making them the most versitile and convenient ladders in the world. They are trusted by the US military and are strong and reliable and have a Type 1A 300 LB Professional duty rating and are OSHA, ANSI complianr (sic).

Oh well...........I guess I'll paint with a less than a "Tacticool" ladder. I'll leave this ladder for Mall Ninja's to scale mall walls or save the cute princess.............

    Thats hillarious

A tactical ladder the mall ninja's must have been camped out for days waiting for its release. sorry I had to

Seriously I have one on my truck it is a great design to always carry without the need for a ladder rack and in most cases the 16 feet is plenty for a quick high fix and saves runs to the shop.

They are a little disturbing the first couple times up them, They do flex more than a standard extension. by the way mine isn't tacticool black but does anyone know a shop that would duracoat it for me?

I imagine it would be convenient for SWAT entry into a first/second level window... Im just surprised that Home Depot is selling it.

Love to know how much HD is selling them for. My old department dropped a buttload of money on the ones they have.

After checking the price, I'm willing to bet they saw my guys coming. Wow.

The majority of the cost involved in ladder manufacture is toward product liability lawsuits, you fall off a ladder, you sue,you improperly use the ladder and get hurt you sue etc.

My neighbor bought an actual "tactical flowerpot" from Home Depot. I'm wondering if this is just a disturbing trend...

It's all tactical, all the time. The sales mags I get are comical, I bet the word tactical appears thousands of times.
