People like that should be drawn and quartered.

And folks are wondering why we are losing our freedoms........

That is actually fairly common. And no, its not discrimination.

And it's not just renting. Homeowners associations set up a lot of restrictions about their subdivisions. It's really, really important to read all the fine print before signing a lease or a purchase agreement.

Give people power over you and they never stop.

I will never live in a deed restricted community. Give me the country.

Heck you think thats bad, the Greenbrier Hotel does not allow them on the property and gentlemen are required to wear a tie in the lobby!

I wont be going back there anytime soon.

I dont mind the bikes, but I wish my deed restricted community would do something about the loud ghetto stereos.

Yep, fortunately I was not looking for a place to live but there on business.
Apparently it has had no affect on their rent ability as there are only four unrented units at this times and they are usually all full.

AMEN!!! My home is one of 320 that doesn't have an HOA. But I am surrounded by miles of homes that do. I have to drive through those HOA hoods to get to my house.

Yep - there are HOA's here in CO (and I'm sure elsewhere as well) that don't allow company vehicles. So if you have a pickup that has a company advertisement on the side, you have to have a blank magnet that matches your paint color to cover the company logo, phone number, etc...

We can't have people working for a living out here, no plumbers, electricians etc, allowed in our neighborhoods...

My God, I'm glad I live in small town America. I realize that you make a choice to live in those types of areas, but I choose to live where no one can tell me what color roof I can have on my house, what type of siding I have on the house, whether I have my RV parked on my property or whether I leave the garage door open. Unless, of course, they want to make my house payment for me. Nope, wouldn't even be worth it then.

I'm an admin on a motorcycle forum and we get a lot of stories like the OP. Private communities all over ban whatever they don't like.

So, you think it is fine to infringe on someone's rights because you feel someone else's rights were violated, even when that is not the case?

Not really, more like it isn't worth my time to, but the thought it good..
I'm certainly glad it is not worth your time to irritate other people for some perverse pleasure. Or, is it your opinion that two wrongs make a right....?

I figured you and AZHusker would be doing Harley Drags in a neighborhood that didn't allow bikes!!!
