Okay, I won't spew any more spoilers.

I'm not really into the show - my husband loves it. I just couldn't help screeching, "His gun is OUT OF BATTERY! A ha ha ha" just to ruin his moment.

I saw that too and wondered who was going to post that here (or some other gun forums I'm on).

The gun used in the scene I guess was a Glock 32, 23 or 19.

To me,the most common pistol in movies FUBAR is the nimrod shootin' the 1911,slide locks back(after 27 shots),camera quickly cuts away, camera back to shooter after 1 sec. and the gun is runnin' again without a reload. My wife has gotten so she will comment/laugh/point at the TV before I will. Hey,....that's how I know that I'm still in love. -------

Trust me not the first time that has been done on 24. I haven't seen it much, but my wife likes it.

I don't watch the show, but I was impressed by the commercial where Jack is hiding behind a sheet metal vent hood on a roof, which miraculously stops rifle rounds being fired at him from a helicopter.
