also: Tupac said it best...there should be classes on morals, ethics, crime, self defense, the real world and things you'll encounter in it, and on and on, basically all reality wake-up and awareness classes, but no we have classes like gym.

I believe that if you fortify the K-12 education with some real-world applicable knowledge you can be an upstanding member of society, heck, you can be without, but most choose to watch real world, and the hills, as it's been said.

By the way, who did Heidi and Spencer vote for?

Leadership makes things happen...one way or the other.

Without getting into a verbal abuse of my present place of employment, let me make a short comparison.

My old MI district (retired 10 years ago) had a dropout rate below 2%.
My present district, here in Central FL, has a yearly dropout rate between 30-40%.
To save money, they cut all the geography classes two years ago...I could make a long list of 'what not to do's...

Define 'own'. Apparently there are millions of people out there who don't have a penny to their name working minimum wage jobs 20 hours a week yet financed $600,000 homes with no money down. And, of course, now the government is working to make sure they stay there.

Nope, I don't see how requiring property ownership to vote would help. The corrupt politicians would just have the government pay so their supporters could 'own' property.

Yeah, why bother with this silly Constitution thing? It's just ridiculous. And people with more propterty should get more votes! And equal protection under the law? That's a crock! You should be entitled to only the protection you can afford. And if you don't pay property taxes, then you have no right to keep and bear arms! People who don't have property don't have anything to defend anyway.
