Talking Tired of shotgun vs carbine for HD.

I've gotten tired of the endless shotgun vs carbine debate. I have decided to go old school, no really old school, like medieval on your rear end.

The projectile for the event was a ten pound bag of sugar. One of the local towns has a sugar processing plant that sponsored the event.

I got two hundred feet, using a stopwatch the average speed was 83 fps.

Now I just have to figure out how to get it in the house.

You might have to take the door off the hinges, but it should fit through the back door. No problem. lol

It's one thing when you pull a firearm out of the gun-safe for Home Protection. It's a whole new deal when you can sling the entire safe & its contents at the intruder.

I guess that's the new SD method for when you forget the combo?

The counter weight is 560 pounds.

It's not quite big enough to toss the whole safe.

I built as big of one as the rules allowed this year, I'm trying to talk the committee into doing away with the pesky size limitations for next year.

Man no kidding!!! I don't know how to figure out the force of impact of ten lbs moving at 83 fps, but I bet it would hurt!!!

Would this work as a daily carry???
