That's what I was thinking. Must have been something really embarrassing for you to come up with a story about a shoe.

Hope you have a speedy recovery, and a fast internet connection during the meantime.

Dang Son, that's a tough break (pun intended). Hope you heal up quick. Did you hit something on the way down or did it just break hitting the floor?

Ouch. I feel your pain, Sixto.

I did a front flip off the top of a flight of stairs.

I never knew what it was like to have an anxiety attack until I had a cast on my hand.

    That sucked.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Need to be more careful. It has been said the majority of accidents occur in the home. Speedy recovery we need more good guys on the streets. You and your family are in our prayers. Take care of yourself.

Well SIXTO at least you are lucky your not a horse. I'll bet that makes the cast more tolerable.

Before we were married my wife (a PhD and professor at the time) was visiting from out of state. On the day before she left to go back she was carrying my laundry to the car to go to the Laundromat (single men do not own washers and dryers, you can buy a couple guns for what those things cost) and twisted her ankle on the curb real bad and tore some soft tissue and was in a cast.

She said it was going to be embarrassing to tell her colleagues she did it carrying a man’s dirty underwear to the Laundromat. I told her if that embarrassed her too much she could always just tell them an anchor bolt pulled out on the "Tibetan Love Swing" and I would back her up. She said she actually used that line on a couple of them just to see the look on their faces before ‘fessing up the truth.

Too bad you couldn’t get an interesting story planted before the truth got around; heal well, which IS better than fast take it from an old fart, and take care. Look forward to more of your words of wisdom now that you some free time.

Somehow that avatar of yours is looking really appropriate right now

    Get well soon Sixto.
Good man being honest; but a story would have been more interesting.

I am constantly reminding my wife to not leave things out of place around the house. Don't get me wrong; she keeps a clean house, but she does tend to leave her purse, book bag, last trip to the store etc. in the worst places!
I like to be able to walk around at night without turning on the lights. I 'know' where everything is at in the dark. Unless she helps out.

On another note; Paco, I gotta know more about the 'snapped' calf. I'll P.M. ya so as not to take the thread too far off topic.
