It was funny after we all knew what was really going
on. You dont agree with much I do anyway
    It seems that way.
But walking out with a gun in your hand into anyplace where the police are firing at something, whether you yell anything or not, could get you shot someday. There aren't any deer in my neighborhood, and if the PD is shooting at something, anybody they see with a gun in their hand is possibly a target. Most of the LEO's I know don't like to see people with a gun in their hand, especially after shots have been fired.
I hope you don't teach actions like this in your training, I'd hate to read about you or one of your students in the obituary section.

I have a curious side RugerGirl that could
get me into trouble one day I suppose.
If someone told me this story in a what should
I do type of situation my response may be different
from my actions but as the saying goes "Do as I say
    not as I do" lol

well it may have seemed funny to you and your friend, but for the most part GUNFIRE does scare the majority of folks...

    you asked how my friend
knew it was a cop shooting since he
had just stepped outside? I stated in the
story which is a true story that the patrol
car lights were on and it was at night. So my friend
could easily see the patrol lights reflecting off the
surrounding trees when he stepped outside and
I could also see the lights before I even walked out the
door since it was open. We all assumed probably that since the lights
were flashing blue and then there was a gunshot the police were
    shooting or in a shootout.
Alright I see where you guys could assume that, it just sounded funny the way it read in your first post. As for the deer, alot of guys I know would have either tossed it in their car and brought it somewhere to clean it or called animal control.

I with J Bowen, If I hear shots close to my house, I want to know whats going on and I ain't going alone if you know what I mean. I wouldn't go run up on an officer( neither did J Bowen) but I'd want to see what was going on, just in case. I'd a laughed at that sissy too....lol
