    My sincere apologies to all you NRA members who were carrying the ball while I had my head stuck up a very dark place.

    I recently joined, became a Life Member, and signed my dad up as well.

    I learned from reading other threads here about the NRA that one can request to be taken off the normal solicitation list.

    I requested no solicitations when I joined, and I get very little mail from them. I understand from others the mailings can be intense.
