    Revoke "Whale Wars" Captains license!

Should they prosecute the captain of the Steve Irwin? (Paul Watson)
Or take away his License for jeopardizing the crew of both ships?
What do you think about the TV show, Whale Wars?
I think they should enforce Maritime laws and prevent the
Sea Shepherd's, Steve Irwin or at least, the Captain, Paul Watson from coming anywhere near the whaling ships.
    How about you?

I agree completely. The whalers in my opinion have full justfication to put a harpoon through the hull below the water line if not through the pilot house.

They are no better than the Somali Pirates.

The production company participants should be charged with aiding and abetting.

I simply can't believe they are not breaking significant Maritime Law.

sink the Steve Irwin.. They are nothing more than a bunch of terrorists… The whalers should blast them out of the water…

I agree, what they did was wrong, they placed lives at risk. I also believe killing whales under the guise of research is wrong as well.

The Dutch government told them they cannot throw stuff off the ship, they violated that, the captain has said he will do anything he can to stop them, and he rammed their ship endangering both ships and crews,he should be stripped of his captain license and criminally charged, lets see how much damage he does in a 3x5 cell

I like whales as much as the next guy but if the Japanese like to eat them then that is their right. I am sure nothing on the whale goes to waste.

I bet there is someone in India right now posting to a message board on how rodeo is inhumane and how CMT should be charged with aiding and abetting the cowboys for the treatment of cattle. It's all cultural. What's relevant in my culture may (and likely does) appear as savagery in another.

I wonder how BBQ whale tastes?

In the same way I agreed with what the IRA stood for, I denounce their methods.

I agree with this post, I too hate to see creatures slaughtered for no reason but if it's used for food then I can deal with it.

Not to tick anyone off but how many own a shark or alligator trimmed holster?

I agree completely. I don't want to eat whale but if someone else does, that's their business. Cultural differences are what they are you're not gonna' change them anyway. Breaking the law to force our cultural or moral beliefs on others is wrong . . . the end does not justify the means.

Capt.Watson was drummed out of Greenpeace for being too extreme in his actions, when those World class kooks say your crazy theres no help for you.
Lets hope the Dutch pull their Flag,or the Aussie Feds have enough evidence to lock up the whole bunch.
It would not suprise me for the Japanese to sink the STEVE IRWIN in the port like the French did the RAINBOW WARRIOR in Tahiti back in the 80s.
It is pardonable to be defeated but never surprised.
